Banana Collection (Late August 2026)
Sonic announced a banana lineup that brings back the Banana Pudding Shake. Ask your drive-in which banana items it carries and what they cost.
Hotumn Drinks (Announced Mid-August 2026)
Sonic added a limited-time line of iced, fall-flavored drinks called Hotumn. EatDrinkDeals also reports Frozen Refreshers in Mango Peach, Strawberry Passion Fruit, and Berry Citrus. A limited Watermelon Peach flavor joined them. Starting prices are listed at $2.99, so confirm in the app. Brand Eating reported four options. The first two are Cherry Pie made with Coke and Blueberry Pie made with Dr Pepper. The other two are Harvest Berry made with Sprite and Cranberry Orchard Sweet Tea. Sonic has not published national prices, so check the app for your location.
SONIC Rewards (Launched April 6, 2026)

America $2.50 Menu (Ended July 12, 2026)
For three weeks, Sonic sold four items at $2.50 each to mark America’s 250th birthday. The Red, White and Blue Slush Float, Jr Double Cheeseburger, All-American Hot Dog, and Medium Onion Rings were included. The promotion ran June 22 to July 12, 2026, per Inspire Brands. It has ended. Sonic also donated $250,000 to classroom projects through its Foundation.
SONIC x Grillo’s Pickles Collab Menu (Summer 2026)
The pickle collab added pickle-flavored items to the menu. These were limited-time launches, so some may have rotated off. Confirm in the app before you plan a visit around them.

What Is the $6 Special at SONIC?
The $6 special is the All-American Smasher Meal. Sonic launched it nationwide on January 12, 2026 as a limited-time deal. You get an All-American SONIC Smasher, medium Tots or Groovy Fries, and a medium soft drink or iced tea. It costs $6 plus tax, and add-ons cost extra.
The deal does not cover the Triple or Bacon versions. The All-American SONIC Smasher has two Angus beef patties and American cheese. It adds lettuce, tomato, crinkle-cut pickles, diced onions, ketchup, and mayo on a soft potato bun. It sits beside the Original SONIC Smasher and does not replace it.

What Day Does Sonic Have Half Price Burgers?
Sonic runs half-price cheeseburgers on Tuesdays after 5 PM. You must order online or in the SONIC App as a registered user. The discount applies automatically at checkout.

The $7 meal deal is the $7 Big Deal Meal. Sonic launched it on June 1, 2026. It is a flat-price bundle that costs $7 plus tax. Sonic says the price may vary based on modifications.

Sonic’s posted terms cover soft drinks, iced teas, and regular and frozen lemonades and limeades. They also cover Ocean Water and Famous, Real Fruit, and Candy Slushes. Add-ins cost extra. Reports say the deal applies all day for app orders placed ahead, for a limited time. That version excludes Mini sizes, ice cream slushes, combos, and Wacky Packs.
