What’s on the $3 Dollar Menu at Taco Bell?
Taco Bell has no menu literally called the $3 menu. The closest match is the Luxe Value Menu, where every item costs $3 or less. Taco Bell also has no $1 menu today. The cheapest items cost about $1.39. Items cost $1 only through app offers like Tuesday Drops. Happier Hour drinks cost $1 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Taco Bell launched this menu with five new items and five favorites from the old Cravings lineup. New items rotate in through the year. The official page now lists more than ten items.

The Chili Cheese Burrito is reported as a regional item. Salted Caramel Churros launched at $1.99 as a limited-time item. They are not on the official page checked in November.
Many shoppers search for a $3 steak burrito. The official Luxe page checked on November 6 lists no steak burrito. The Steak Double Dipping Burritos cost $5.99 and have 620 calories.
What Comes With the $5 Luxe Box at Taco Bell?
The $5 Classic Luxe Box holds four items. You get a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, Chips and Cheese, and a medium fountain drink. Calories run from 820 to 1,100, depending on the drink.
Boxes change over time. At the January 2025 launch, the $5 box came with Cinnamon Twists instead of Chips and Cheese. Check the app for your restaurant’s current build.
What Comes in the $7 Supreme Luxe Box at Taco Bell?
The $7 Supreme Luxe Box holds five items. You get a Chicken Chalupa Supreme and a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito. The rest is a Crunchy Taco, Chips and Cheese, and a medium drink. Calories run from 1,150 to 1,430. It matches the build Taco Bell announced at launch.
What’s in the $9 Luxe Meal at Taco Bell?
Taco Bell calls it the Discovery Luxe Box. It costs $9.00 and holds four items. You get Double Dipping Burritos with Slow-Roasted Chicken, a Beef Chalupa Supreme, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink. Calories run from 1,140 to 1,420.
This box rotates. Taco Bell built it to feature a recent menu innovation. The January 2025 version held Doritos Locos Tacos, a Crunchy Taco, and Cinnamon Twists. Contents may change again.
Want to choose your own items? The Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box starts at $7.69. Calories range from 670 to 2,050 depending on your picks.
Luxe Box Comparison: $5 vs $7 vs $9
| Box | Price | Main items | Calories |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Luxe Box | $5.00 | Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips and Cheese | 820-1,100 |
| Supreme Luxe Box | $7.00 | Chicken Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips and Cheese | 1,150-1,430 |
| Discovery Luxe Box | $9.00 | Double Dipping Burritos, Beef Chalupa Supreme, Cinnamon Twists | 1,140-1,420 |
| Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box | From $7.69 | Your choice | 670-2,050 |
Taco Bell’s official menu also lists a second version of the Classic and Supreme boxes. It shows higher calories, 880 to 1,160 and 1,210 to 1,490. Taco Bell does not explain the difference. Ask your restaurant which version it serves.
Each box includes a drink. During Happier Hour, a $1 drink keeps a value-item order cheap. A box still wins when you want a full meal. For larger groups, compare our notes on the Meal for 2 and party packs in the Taco Bell menu.
Luxe Value Menu Prices: Launch vs Today
Taco Bell published launch prices on January 13, 2026. The table compares nine items with the Columbus restaurant on November 6. Launch prices were national “or less” prices, and one restaurant is not a national average. Treat the change as a signal, not a rule.
| Item | Launch price | Price now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheesy Roll Up | $1.19 | $1.39 | Up $0.20 |
| Spicy Potato Soft Taco | $1.29 | $1.39 | Up $0.10 |
| Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito | $1.49 | $1.49 | No change |
| 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt | $2.29 | $2.39 | Up $0.10 |
| Cheesy Double Beef Burrito | $2.79 | $2.99 | Up $0.20 |
| Mini Taco Salad | $2.49 | $2.49 | No change |
| Chips and Nacho Supreme Dip | $2.49 | $2.49 | No change |
| Beefy Potato Loaded Griller | $2.49 | $2.79 | Up $0.30 |
| Avocado Ranch Chicken Stacker | $2.99 | $2.99 | No change |
These nine items cost $19.51 at launch. They cost $20.41 at the Ohio restaurant now. That is about $0.90, or 5 percent, more. Four items hold their launch price.
Prices by Market
Franchise owners set prices, so two restaurants can differ by a dollar on the same item. Third-party guides tied to a Kansas City restaurant show higher numbers than the Ohio restaurant.
| Item | Launch price | Columbus, OH (official, Nov 6) | Kansas City (third-party, fall 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheesy Roll Up | $1.19 | $1.39 | $1.69 |
| Spicy Potato Soft Taco | $1.29 | $1.39 | $1.79 |
| Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito | $1.49 | $1.49 | $1.99 |
| Mini Taco Salad | $2.49 | $2.49 | $2.99 |
The Kansas City figures come from third-party guides, not Taco Bell. The same item can cost 30 to 50 cents more in some markets. Check your own price in the app before you drive over.
What Happened to the Cravings Value Menu?
The Luxe lineup replaced the Cravings Value Menu. Five Cravings favorites carried over. They were the Cheesy Roll Up, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, and Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito. The 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt and Cheesy Double Beef Burrito also stayed.
Cheapism reported in January that four other Cravings items were not named in Taco Bell’s announcement. They were the Double Stacked Taco, Classic Stacker, Loaded Beef Nachos, and Chicken Enchilada Burrito. Treat that as one third-party report. Cheapism also listed Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, yet the official page now sells them for $2.79 to $2.99.
Cheapism also noted that the Spicy Potato Soft Taco cost about $1.10 before the change. That compares with about $1.39 today at the Ohio restaurant.

Best Value: Calories per Dollar
This table divides calories by the midpoint price. It shows how much energy each dollar buys. It is not nutrition advice.
| Item | Midpoint price | Calories | Calories per $1 |

| Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito | $1.49 | 400 | 268 |
| Cheesy Double Beef Burrito | $2.89 | 560 | 194 |

|---|---|---|---|

How TheMenuPrices.com Checks These Prices
Alex Rivera reads the official Taco Bell Luxe Value page, Boxes and Combos pages, and launch announcements first. Official prices on those pages belong to one restaurant, in Columbus, Ohio. Launch prices come from the January 13, 2026 announcement. Box contents come from each box’s official page. We compare those figures with independent price guides. Where figures agree, the table says “About.” Where they differ, the table shows a range. Single-source claims carry a “reported” label. We recheck the page when Taco Bell adds or removes items.
